Reference time for production: 80 hours Natural wood, metal Product introduction Atakasen is a general term for large warships widely used in Japan from the late Muromachi period to the early Edo period. It was heavily armed, and the large one had a total length of 50 meters or more, and more than a hundred fighters were on board. Propulsed by dozens of rowers during the battle, it formed the core of a small, fast sekibune and a fleet of small and fast fleets.
The box-shaped hull is characteristic, and there is a space for bows and guns at the top of the fence. The appearance of a castle-style turret that looks like a "castle on the sea" is also depicted in the folding screen map by Mitsunobu Kano, an important cultural property of Saga Prefecture. This kit is unique to Woody Joe, referring to the 1/10 exhibition model of the Nagoya Castle Museum in Saga Prefecture and the Atakebune drawn in the "Hizen Nagoya Castle Ruins" (owned by the Saga Prefectural Museum).
Designed on a 1/100 scale with consideration. Mainly wooden parts by high-precision laser processing and woodworking machining, Ikari and castle tower come with metal parts. The assembly instructions that explain the assembly process divided into the hull part, hedge part, and castle tower part with photos and figures support in an easy-to-understand manner.
