ASSEMBLY REQUIRES - One package of 4000 BBs, 150 Grit Sandpaper (1-2 sheets), 220 Grit Sandpaper (1-2 sheets), Carpenter's Glue, Cyanoacrylate Glue ("Crazy Glue" or "Super Glue"), Three 4 Quick Clamps or Masking Tape or Weights.
The five gear train allows for longer run times between winds and a shorter pendulum. It requires more skill to build, but the result is a timepiece, not a toy! Using no batteries, this clock is powered by a counterweight that gently lowers to the ground, powering the pendulum through the gears of the clock. The kit is designed, documented, and manufactured at the ABONG factory near Toronto, Canada. We want you to build a working clock. Additional Tools and Supplies Needed to Assemble this Kit. One or two sheets of 220 grit sand paper are more than enough to complete the kit.
A good quality wood glue and a small bottle of super glue are all you need to assemble the clock. The only tools required to build this first time clock builders kit are a pair of scissors and a razor saw.
