6 Bench Grinder Belt Sander Complete With An Add-On Polishing Kit Suitable for the Home Workshop for Polishing Wood, Plastics and Metal Items when used with suitable polishes. The Main Image above shows the Polishing Kit Assembled to the Bench Grinder (shown on its own in another image) and also shows the Polishing Kit Component Parts Separately in the Same Image. Tools required (not supplied) are a 19mm spanner and a Philips Screwdriver. The machine also needs to be securely fixed to your work top prior to use (fixings are not supplied).

1 x Toolstream (Silverline) 6 240W Bench Grinder & Belt Sander 230v No load speed: 2950rpm (grinder), 15 m/s (belt sander) Electric Plug. Supplied fitted with a UK 3 Pin Electrical Plug. International buyers need to fit their own plug / adapter which is suitable for use in their own country. Comes supplied fitted with 1 x 80 Grit Sanding Belt 1 x 150mm Medium Grinding Wheel Please Note. The Motor will Run Hot.

The run time is around 20 minutes on, allow to cool, then continue. Do Not Push Hard against the polishing wheels. This will strain the motor and damage the polishing wheel centre discs.

Using Light Pressure with the correct polishing procedures as explained in the supplied instructions will get satisfactory results. Further information is shown in the operator's manual supplied in the box with the machine. When polishing using the spindle adapters attached to the bench grinder, suitable safety glasses, gloves and dust mask (not supplied) must be worn.

The Polishing Kit is supplied separately to the Bench Grinder and needs to be assembled / attached by the following method. Once the bench grinder side guard and the grinding wheel has been removed (please note that the left hand grinder shaft has a left hand nut), the spindle adapter is then slid over the grinder shaft. Please remove the grub screws in the adapters first and then fit the adapter as far as it will go onto the shaft. Once fitted, reinsert the grub screw and tighten it using the allen key.
